dc.description.abstractDe jaarlijkse bodemafdekkingskaart (JaarBAK) 2023 voor Vlaanderen op 1 m-resolutie geeft voor elke cel aan of deze wel of niet is afgedekt in 2023. 'Bodemafdekking' wordt gedefinieerd als de oppervlakte waarvan de aard en/of toestand van het bodemoppervlak gewijzigd is door het aanbrengen van artificiële, (semi-)ondoorlaatbare materialen, waardoor essentiële ecosysteemfuncties van de bodem verloren gaan (woningen, wegen, andere constructies …).

'Soil sealing' is defined as the area where the nature and/or condition of the soil surface has been altered by applying artificial, (semi-)impermeable materials, resulting in the loss of essential ecosystem functions of the soil (houses, roads, other structures, etc.).
