dc.description.abstractIn de voorliggende nota (deelrapport II) rapporteert VITO de inschatting van het potentieel per technologie, i.e. warmte/stroom uit zonne-energie en (on)diepe geothermie, zoals gevraagd door Europa. VITO baseerde zich hiervoor op bestaande kaartlagen die waar mogelijk geactualiseerd werden. De kartering van het hernieuwbaar energiepotentieel in Vlaanderen toont dat de voor alle technologietypes voldoende technisch potentieel beschikbaar is om aan de openstaande doelstelling te voldoen.

onderzoek.abstract.translationIn the present paper (Subreport II) VITO reports the estimation of the potential per technology, i.e. heat/electricity from solar energy and (un)deep geothermal energy, as requested by Europe. VITO based this on existing map layers which were updated where possible. The mapping of the renewable energy potential in Flanders shows that for all technology types sufficient technical potential is available to meet the open target.
